Stay wild ocean child

Welcome to Ntona Surf Camp, located in the heart of Imsouane, one of Morocco’s most famous surf destinations. Known for its laid-back atmosphere, stunning coastline, and world-class waves, Imsouane is the perfect place to slow down, connect with nature, and dive into the local culture.

Discover Imsouane

A Surfer's Paradise

Imsouane is a small fishing village with a rich and authentic Moroccan soul. For generations, it was home to local fishermen who lived from the sea, catching fish and octopus that are still served in the local restaurants today. Over the past two decades, Imsouane has quietly transformed into a surfers’ paradise, after traveling surfers discovered the endless right-hand wave that now draws visitors from all over the world. Despite its growing popularity, Imsouane has kept its peaceful and welcoming vibe, making it a unique place where surf culture and traditional Moroccan life blend together.

Surf Spots in Imsouane

The Bay
(La Baie)

Imsouane’s most iconic wave

The Bay, is one of the longest right-hand waves in Africa, sometimes stretching up to 800 meters! This spot is perfect for beginners and intermediates, offering long, smooth rides that give you plenty of time to enjoy and improve. It’s also a favorite for longboarders due to its mellow and consistent waves.

Cathedral Point
(La Cathédrale)

For surfers looking for more action

Cathedral Point offers faster, more powerful waves. This reef break works best on mid to high tide and is great for intermediate to advanced surfers. It’s a beautiful spot just a short walk from the village, surrounded by cliffs that give it a unique and wild charm.

🌊 The Reef

Another local gem

The Reef is less crowded and delivers both left and right waves depending on the swell. It’s a great alternative when the Bay gets too busy, and works well for surfers with a bit more experience.

One of the best things about staying with us is that right next to the surf house, there’s an incredible viewpoint overlooking the entire bay. From here, you can check the waves in the morning while sipping your coffee, watch the surfers from above, or simply enjoy a magical sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. It’s one of our guests’ favorite spots to relax and take in the beauty of Imsouane.

But Imsouane is more than just a surf town. It’s a place where you can immerse yourself in Moroccan culture, meet friendly locals, and enjoy the beauty of a simple life by the sea.

A Taste of Moroccan Culture & Food

Beyond the waves, Morocco’s rich culture and hospitality will make your experience truly special. At Ntona, we believe in sharing not only surf sessions but also meals and moments together.

Moroccan cuisine is a feast of flavors

  • Tagines – Slow-cooked stews made with vegetables, fish, or meat, seasoned with delicious spices like cumin, saffron, and cinnamon.
  • Couscous – A traditional Friday dish, served with vegetables and tender meat, full of warmth and flavor.
  • Fresh Moroccan salads, bread, and olives – Simple, healthy, and always tasty.
  • No Moroccan table is complete without mint tea, served as a sign of hospitality and friendship and of course all dishes can be prepared vegetarian.

Try other local specialties like:

  • Argan oil, also called “Moroccan gold,” used in both food and skincare — a product unique to this region.
  • Amlou, a delicious spread made from roasted almonds, honey, and argan oil — a must-try for breakfast or tea time.
